I spun a rod bearing about a month ago.
This is my first time changing out a rod bearing.
I'm doing it from underneath the car, I took the oilpan off and everything seems to be accessible.
I had flakes of metal in the oilpan but I'm dirt poor so I'm going to try putting new bearings in and riding it out that way.
You guys have any tips or anything before I take on this task?
Anyone know the torque spec off of the top of there head and I'm buying the bearings from checkers for 40 bucks anyone have any other suggestions of where to get them? I do shop online.
I have a 4g63 in a 98 GST.

. And I'm kind of jammed up with my car atm. Spent a few hundred bucks changing timing belt + water pump and stuff and dropped in my parts car motor only to have its headgasket fail.
