hi i just purchased a 98 eclipse it has spun a rod bearing on the third cylinder...im trying to just get the car runnng....trying to save up for a rebuilt short block..is the any rod bearing that is .008 inch over sized

If the bearing spun, and scored the crank .008, the crank will need ground under or replaced.

The block needs to be fully pulled apart and cleaned.

The rods need to be checked for size and resized as needed.

You will be rebuilding the whole bottom end.

There is no "patch work" way to fix this and have it last
