I believe he was initially referring to the Evo IX turbo, which is not too wonderful of a suggestion. Reverse-rotating means a difficult install, and at the end of the day it's STILL a 16G. Evo X turbos are standard-rotating and easily upgradable to a 20G.
The factory Evo X compressor is quite-comparable to our Evo III 16G, but having a smaller inducer definitely makes it less-potent than an off-the-shelf Evo III 16G. Great upgrade for someone who is just outgrowing a 14B but doesn't want to drop $900 on a new Evo III. The downside is it has to be custom-built as there are no DSM-style compressor covers pre-cut for an Evo X compressor.
