sorry if thats confusingHard to say- some parts kits include stuff I've yet to see used in any turbo of that series. As long as you've replaced all the parts you've removed and don't have two of a certain part, you're fine.I am rebuilding my borg s256 Justin and have some leftover parts,not good i know.My kit had four orings,one small black one which found its home,one medium sized black one that i used on the compresser housing outer seal that i thought fit good but i have two large orange left over.I think the large orange one should go on the outer seal but should the face of the compresser housing get the black one?sorry if thats confusing
Did you pay attention to the difference in the outlet size of the turbine housing versus the inlet of the o2 housing? If the o2 housing is unported, there will be around 1/2" difference.
Basically you shouldn't use an unported 1G or 2G o2 housing with an Evo III turbine housing.
Cam profiles vary too greatly by brand, size/profile, and degree. You could potentially increase the performance of even the stock cams with some dyno time and adjustable cam gears. That being said, I'm not sure there is a drop-in "best" cam for any turbo setup once you factor in all the variables.I know its been talked about, but whats your opinion for the best option cams for the small 16g. 264 or 264/272, and brand?
