Tony, feel like sharing some links on where you learned about RFIDs? I've love to learn something else as I'm a bit of an electronics nut.
I'd love to do this to my car but with an OEM button like the Lexus.
I'd like to replicate the Advanced Keys set up, Welcome to Advanced Keys. Basically you get close the doors unlock, get in and press the button (similar to yours but 1 button, press it 3 times to start or press and hold to start). Press it again to turn the car off and when you walk away it locks.

, jk, I was at quantico for a while, I need the key as usual, the only dif is that instead of cranking all the way I just turn the car "on" and push the button. That way I will always have to use a key to make my car move. If anyone has any questions, I don't mind posting a vid.
