pimp! I know a lot of new cars are starting to have those similar features. Not just luxury cars. Supposedly for when your carrying a bunch of stuff and you cant really reach into your pocket, the doors unlock for you when you come within a certain proximity.

Very neat feature which I wouldn't mind and further allows us to keep up with today's technology with yeseterday's cars

My Compustar requires you to press a button on the key fob to unlock the doors. This unit, you just walk up to the car and doors unlock/lock automatically.

I'm going through my old DSM cd, I had forgotten the pin outs on the dsm key cylinder.

I'm thinking this would have to work on 1Gs, early and late 2Gs as well. I may offer this as a universal kit, where it would fit any car. Nice thing about a 1g/2g is they have turbo timer harnesses out there that I can use to simplify wiring.

Hmm What kind of Nissan did you steal that out of . That sure looks like the Nissan Key fob and Nissan Start button.

I still like the good OLE classic KEY. It Works EVERYTIME and I never have to worry about dead batteries in my FOB

Man I've been looking for an elegant solution like this forever. Can the integration include tying into an aftermarket alarm system? Can't imagine that's a simple question but in the chance you've investigated it you might be able to comment.

Curious if you have to replace the manual key with the button? It'd be nice if you could take full advantage of the push button start and also utilize the normal key'd ignition if you had too.

Is this possible with the current setup?
