  • Yeah that was what I am gonna do. Just left it removable and if I need to change it I can. I wend and did a few pulls and about 14 miles in my car and I did not notice any Ticks or shaking in the needle on the stock tach. I have the digital prosport 2 inch tach installed in my pillar pod and it was exactly the same as was the RPM reading on the safc2 I have hooked up so your quick fix did the trick!! Thanks for the post!
on your post for the dead 90 tach i wanna tell you that you saved my stock tach (even though I had already put a digital one in the pillar pod) but now it works and it took me about 34 second total haha. I was gonna ask you, what about instead of putting the jumper harness in could you cut off the connector and just put a butt connector to each wire making it a solid connection? It seems as if it would do the same thing and you would not have to worry about it falling out or anything? Thanks, Patrick!
