Yes there are a boat load of kits but there the same kits that have been out since the first F&F. I agree with you on unique style just look at my car. It has nothing on it that is offered mainsteam for the same reason> I didn't like what was offered so I made what I wanted. theres a great forum for this: fiberglassforum.com There are several people on there that didn't like what was offered and made what they wanted instead. Not saying thats what you should do but just puting it out there. Your goal doesn't match everyone elses goal, figure out what its going to take to meet that goal.

This would be only for looks.
It would be nice if there was a clear valve cover that would be stronger that the oem ones that tend to crack alot yet it will be clear so that you can see everything in the head. That would really be nice. Besides, it would go great with the clear timing belt cover.

Wouldn't this prove to be pointless as the valve cover would be covered in oil? :hmm:

I wish Magnus would tweak they're new cast mani for a 2g head. Not really an appearance upgrade. And it would also be cool if they made a kit for a led third break in the spoiler for us 2gb guys the stock one rattles like crazy with a system.

1Ga exterior door trim pieces. Both the ones halfway down the door, and the skirts at the bottom. We don't want those awful looking aftermarket body kits, we just want our cars to look as good as when they were new, and searching junkyards for 20 year old plastic body trim is getting worse and worse. To quote Will Ferrell, "I feel like I'm taking crazy pills"

I respectfully disagree with regards to your comment about companies not making them because they don't make money. Just do a quick search for some 2g body kits. You'll find a shit ton. The reason behind this is because these guys make money off of them. My problem isn't the lack of selection... It's the terrible selection. All in all, I agree with you that the stock lines look better than 99% of body kits out there. I still want to find something that looks the way I want it because I want to change my car so it doesn't look like your car. I want a one of a kind vehicle. This is another reason for doing the AWD swap I want to do. I get the added benefits of AWD and rarely do you see a spyder AWD. Unique.

And not for nothing... For those who care only about how it functions and not how it looks are typically in it solely for the sport. My goal for this car goes beyond that.

+1 This is probably the best explanation I've heard to justify the thrashing after-market DSM appearance products receive.

I would like to see pistons made for 420A that mimic the 4g63's turbo hyper-pneumatic pistons for a decent price.

You mean Hypereutectic pistons?

A hyper pneumatic piston sounds... interesting to say the least.

That's OK. I actually looked them up because I was so confused for a second there.

Anyways I'm guessing you want them because they would be cheaper than forged ones? Other than that and a lack of piston slap they have no real benefit of forged. Your logic is sound my friend except in that since they aren't made (as far as I know) they might actually cost MORE to make than forged ones, and I think that would defeat the benefits. I could be wrong though.

I'd like to see the Fittipaldi bumpers, skirt, and wing made.

Carbon Fiber hood for the mighty max!

Well I can only dream :)

If some of these neon performance companys would jump on the band waggon making pistons for the 420A that mimic a 2G 4g63T piston then 420A's may get a lot better.

Or just remove the 3rd light alltogether. Because really, how important is it to have a 3rd brake light?

That was the first "mod" I did back in '02, after I found out the the damn thing made noise when cruising at 70+ mph with the windows down.

Carbon Fiber hood for the mighty max!
I'd be surprised if 5 of those sold - ever.

It just wouldn't be worth company time to develop. But it would be cool if someone did one or a few in their own garage.

How about a Cf - Kevlar stock fuel tank cover?
Sure, it would be neat. But how many people do you think would spend $400 on something like that? Probably far fewer than it would be worth to produce.

Timing chain conversion
Seriously?

Chevy guys spend big bucks to switch to a belt. I doubt anyone would waste time and money to take a step backwards to develop a chain swap for the 4G...

I always thought a 3rd brake light was required on newer cars for inspection purposes.

It varies by state

I would like to see 97-99 headlights with the oem look that would house real bi-zenon lights (for the hi and low beams) and while they're at it add on some led audi strips in. :hellyeah:

I'd have to see what the look like before buying though..

"Third brake lights, also called center high mounted stop lamps, have been federally mandated since the 1986 model year for passenger cars. They were required for trucks starting with the 1994 model year. Source: NHTSA: CHMSL"

It it against the law to remove or disable the 3rd brake light. Apparently, non-dependent on state.

My light never rattles. I mean I guess it did when I first got the car, but my first mod was to just grab the thing and bend the mounting plate away from the hatch glass about 1/4".
