I would like to see someone come up with a dual side mount intercooler set up for those who want to keep the sleeper/stock look but still have enough cooling abilities as your average front mount.
Dual side mount? I don't think two intercoolers are the answer.
 
Yeah, they used 2 intercoolers because they had 2 turbos. We only use one of each (usually ;) ). Now, a v-mount set-up with a FMIC and a radiator would be a trick little configuration and it might hide both components from the exterior view (sleeper effect), but I'm not sure if we have the room in the frontend to do it.
 
alot of these old places that used to make these awesome parts for our beloved 1g's just arent around anymore. and i hate that! Lol

I didn't say all, I simply said a bunch of them are. Bottom line is most DSMers don't want that stuff so it wouldn't be worth it to produce it for cheap DSMers. You have a list with like $10K worth of parts.. Do you have $10K to buy em if they were made right now? :rolleyes:

We just need more realistic stuff for a community that puts much more money towards perf than anything else.

I believe most DSMers do want that stuff because they are ideas that i have gathered up from the public. im not rich so i dont have 10 grand to spend all at once, but if these parts were readily available all atleast all year then yes i would have the money to eventually get them all. they just need to be in production longer than a few months. if given the rite time in production and given the chance for the word to spread throughout the DSM community I very strongly believe that these parts would sell like crazy. the for that being is because there are just soo many people out there that have dsm's and no resources for parts like these. if the word got spread, the business would be boomin.
 
would be nice to have a carbon fiber front bumper cover. the cheap ABS stuff is annoying when it sags.

I think if there was a manifold and software that we could use VGTs from 6.0lLFords or the 6.7L Cummins that would be awesome! Large power potential, quick spool, and the turbos would be cheap to pick up used.
 
A duck bill. An explanation is the wing thats on top of the rear window. Im making mine right now but if i could buy one that be so much easier.LOL

Variable geometry would be doable and badass, but twin scroll would be pointless as a bolt-on with an adaptor. You need a divided manifold, that's the whole point.

Single-entry turbo and manifold > twin-entry turbo and single-exit manifold

+1 for VNT, -1 for twin-scroll
 
Aftermarket or OEM steel or carbon fiber rear 1/4 panels for the 1G's. There not that expensive and not only would the average DSM'r buy them but body shops would buy them a well for cars that get hit by a deer, or a car door in a parking lot.

I would buy 2 sets of both drivers and passenger sides panels.

:thumb: I like this idea. How about for both the 1G's and 2G's.

How about a custom sheet metal intake and valve cover "like Dsm-Zero" for the 420a. I've haerd about AMM intake, thought it would be nice if another shop would make them.

Tubular suspension is another good idea for both 1g's/2g's for non turbo/turbo models and street/track mainly the lower/upper arms front and rear.

It's probably an extremely slim market of people that want something like that. Most of us a happy with a 4-spider or a welded center, but I do understand why those options wouldn't work for everybody.
 
Im interested in a CF Cooling Plate! They have these for EVO's etc!

Nether 1g or 2g DSM's would benefit from having a top cooling plate like the evo's have. It would be a waste of production time to make them. It would be a purely cosmetic thing if it were made.

One thing that would be nice to have made is new upper radiator grommets or bushings to stop the radiators from slamming around and busting the top of the radiators tank off or causing leaks. I know people make other ways work but for a new OEM set or OEM reman would be nice for a totally sleeper look with OEM quality.

I have never heard of anyone having this issue.

I know of a place releasing a set that has poly bushings for the radiator mounts.
 
I would like to see a 2g hood with the hump on the right side instead of the left side and an air vent on the hump. On the turbo cars the air filter is on that side it would be nice to get more air flow to that general area.
