Did they say when? My buddy bought one from them within the past 12 months... I imagine it's a slow mover now though. Everybody wants a front-mount these days and they're so much cheaper now than they once were.

No he did not say when they stopped.. but I would understand why If everyone is putting a FMIC on. I can't justify chopping up the front end on a street driven car.. Plus I want that sleeper look. Pm has been sent

I think a new thread should be made off this one with like the top 20 products or so and then people can choose from those. If they wanted to add something they could do so on this thread. It would clear things up and then get an idea of how many people want a cf sunroof plug or what not, and then vendors could look at it and see what products we REALLY want and put them into production! just saying...because right now its kind of sloppy and it reminds me of when you have multiple people trying to talk to you at the same time. Vendors what do you think?

I think that while it wont be on the final list the weather stripping and discontinued parts like that would be... HUGE. You could make money off of them pretty easy. People WILL PAY. Junkyards wont carry DSM's forever and they are stripped more and more by the day.

We need a Year One for imports .

5. Carbon Fiber Doors, (again, i know they were once available through hiRev or 386 or some shit but all these people have disappeared without a trace.)

6. Carbon Fiber OEM style 3 piece spoiler for the 1ga GSX and a 5 piece one for the talon guys.

7. Carbon Fiber Sunroof Plug for 1ga's

8. Carbon Fiber 1ga Headlight carriers (like the part that holds the lights) a one piece design that would go with the the rest of a carbon fiber hood)

9. Solid Billet Aluminum Motor Mounts for 1g's, (if somebody wants to say they already make them then please provide Proof! and where to get them currently because as far as im concerned they are not in existance anymore)

10. Full Bolt On Stainless Steel 4" exhaust and also a smaller 3.5" option for 1g FWD and 1g AWD, with the added option to add your own muffler type at the very end of the section.

11. Carbon Fiber OEM style Mirrors for 1ga and 1gb's.

12. Brackets made to bolt on Evo 1 through 9 seats in our 1G DSM's.

13. A Dual gauge Pod Mount to attach to the top of the 1g steering coloumn.

14. some type of aluminum plate to direct the air to the radiator more effeciently.

15. A taller First gear for our Transmissions, and i mean taller than the JDM one or the galant Vr4 one even.

16. A fender Flare kit for us 1g Guys to be able to run wider tires.

I've read all 24 pages of this thread and these are the most likely of the parts that keep coming up. if i get everyones ideas, there'd be body kits and neons and lights and all kinds of stuff that not everyone would like. these are the parts the people want. plus im sure their might even be more to add on, there always is.

I would like to see a gauge holder that completly replaces the trim that goes over the a pillar and seat belt track.

I would like to see some sort of a flux capacitor type device as well. Maybe MR Fusion so I can just ditch my fuel tank...

I assume you're referring to a engine roll damper?

That's a product that falls in between a factory roll stop and a solid roll stop. Many platforms run one to avoid excessive vibration caused from running solid roll stops (it will vary from chassis to chassis). On our cars, solid roll stops won't vibrate your fillings out, so we just run those instead of an under-performing damper.

Also, Carbon Fiber Sunroof plug that is removable. Damn sunlight is annoying and I have the fact our cars dont have one of those sliding things to cover the sunroof.

Sounds like you need to spend $5 and tint your sunroof glass.

Most sunroof plugs that I've ever seen aren't made to be removeable - mostly because the people buying them don't have a reason to constantly remove it.

I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat. The fact that our factory sunroofs tend to rust pretty bad is one of my main reasons why I'd get one.

I think this is a preemptive list of parts that are being phased out of most places due to the dropping interest in DSMs. You might not know 5 people that want these, but there are thousands of DSMs, and chances are, there are others that do. Additionally, some of the stuff that would be nice to see takes a lot of work to produce, and for a devoted following such as ours, it's a lot of work for relatively little gain.

That said. I'm pondering flat bottom pans for DSMs.
