Products the DSM crowd would like to see made

I would like to see one of the shops have a larger list of oem parts with pictures prices and descriptions easily available to read. I'm not always sure exactly what I want to replace, but if it was as easy as buying some of these performance parts companies besides advance auto would have even more of my money.

JNZ's site is pretty good for this. It seems JNZ is just piping the mitsu catalogs to the site, but its my favorite online parts lookup. Otherwise, CAPS can be found for download.

If you have seen how close they are, you would see that it's damn near impossible to make brackets unless you relocate the caliper further up or down. But then who knows if it will hit something.

All I want is a 2G MANUAL RACK.

I'd buy a 2g manual rack right now.

CNC black anodized brushed aluminum insert for the cruise control, mirror switch, fog light switch for the 2gs. This would be great if you wanted to mount a switch or two or even a gauge I guess and have a real nice clean look. That or even leave it flush and blank. Someone make this! Back when i was thinking of turboing my 420a, i could never find a good engine management, i was gonna resort to Megasquirt. I think for the 420a, we need more ways to be able to tune, maybe someone should make like a DSMlink for it. We just a great way to tune(ie pnp megasquirt, some of us cant wait).

This would be only for looks.
It would be nice if there was a clear valve cover that would be stronger that the oem ones that tend to crack alot yet it will be clear so that you can see everything in the head. That would really be nice. Besides, it would go great with the clear timing belt cover.

As someone said before. Headlight convertion for 1ga's. Like miatas and 240's. It would give us a nice hid without the wind drag of the flip up's. If done right, carbon fiber, or paint to match, it would look realy good.

Great idea and wouldn't be TOO difficult to do (no worse than custom fiberglass ever is), main problem would be getting DOT (department of transportation) approval. Otherwise you could chop up some 2g projectors and slap clear plastic over the flip lids, more or less. I'd try it but the law always wins.

hmm instead of that i wish they can figure out a way to put an evo motor in a rs or gs ??? some new type of mounts or .........

basicly the motor is faced the same way

Do you have specific applications in mind for the ARP hardware? They make a lot of stuff, so you could probably find what you're looking for. For example, my brother and I just bought ARP bolts for our heat shields. This is partially because it was hard to find the same bolt as stock in something that would not rust or be affected by heat. We haven't tried these out yet, but we're hoping they aren't affected.

Some applications are also not recommended to have ARP fasteners used. For example, OEM turbo bolts are better than ARP ones.

I would like to see someone make the 2G talon tail lights with white and red ,instead of orange and red..that would make the car look alittle more up to date.
