I know this was already mentioned, but a six groove serpentine belt and a spring loaded tensioner for the 4G63 would be tits. When the stock Harmonic balancer flies apart, it would be the perfect opportunity to upgrade. Swap out all the pulleys, and bolt on a spring loaded tensioner where the A/C tensioner used to be. An upgrade like that would easily sell for $300-$400 and be worth every penny.

Of course, it probably wouldn't fit between the frame rails of my Colt, with A/C.

Single gauge AC pod with functional vent(or at lest slits) for those who only run a boost gauge at the moment and want all of there o so wonderful heat,only seen double gauge pods so If theres singles out there please let me know.

Another thing that it would benefit us all would be stronger transmission/shift cables. They tend to snap at the ball joint on the transmission side. Specially when a short throw shifter mod is involve. Puts more stress on the already weak cables.

I'm going to vote for the 1G weather stripping too. There are still PLENTY of 1G owners out there and everyone wants the stuff.

If someone sent one off to China or somewhere and said here, make these. They would get rich. Even the dealers would be sending people to them. I was talking to a friend at one of the local dealers a few weeks back and he told me they get requests for it all the freaking time.

So anyone got some working capital? Wanna get rich? There you go.

Oh and I'll also vote for better transmission cables. I'm on my 3rd set. They get old and stretch.

If you have seen how close they are, you would see that it's damn near impossible to make brackets unless you relocate the caliper further up or down. But then who knows if it will hit something.

All I want is a 2G MANUAL RACK.

Unfortunately, it will just be left do doing a custom job by making a tubular cross member and using a Flaming River rack (or equivilant), or even doing an Evo 8 power rack -- which is feasible.

I think that we need to rename this thread:

"Products the DSM crowd would like to see made....and more then 3-4 people would be willing to pay for"

Some of the ideas are good, don't get me wrong, but a majority are product that would be a fortune in casting/R&D/production and would cost more to produce the prototype of then if you sold 50 of.

Realism has to be involved. I love dreaming too, and would love to see everyone get the parts they need, but businesses can't take a major loss producing a part that 5 people would want/be able to afford.

well i cant believe none of the 1G guys never thought of this there was a guy who had something close but not 100% the same. i would really like to see a gauge pod that goes in where the stock gauges are like the ones for the 2G that look like this.

I so actually thought about that last night. Only thing is I kind of have to bend mine a little to get it back on, maybe easier with the hood off?

I also would like to see some more carbon fiber but for the interior.

1. some way to fix the vinyl peeling at the crease of my instrument cluster hump on the dashboard, would have to be boomerang(sp) shaped to wrap around to the console.

2. carbon fiber side window defrost ducts on the door panels of a 2g.

3. non oem interior door handle bezels.

I would like to see one of the shops have a larger list of oem parts with pictures prices and descriptions easily available to read. I'm not always sure exactly what I want to replace, but if it was as easy as buying some of these performance parts companies besides advance auto would have even more of my money.
