So from what I've read, if I pressure wash the car. That's all the prep work I need to do?
Well I have your answer! Clean the damaged side thoroughly as I posted earlier, then respray over the damaged areas. The Plastidip will "melt" and blend with the existing Plastidip and will cover up and fill in the scratches you got from not paying attention when you were backing out of the driveway...
Anyone tried the clear on black ? also how hard would it be to strip when you ever wanted to do a real paint job. Does it just peel right off !

What do you mean clear on black !? , Do you mean the clear Plasti Dip on a Black car !? or clearcoat on black plasti dip !?
Well not sure about clearcoat on plasti dip see this video :

That guy used unnecessarily heavy coats of clear. Light coats did great for me.
Also, I found that using Armorall on freshly plastidipped pieces takes away most of the rubbery feel and just leaves it feeling like textured plastic. I did that on some interior pieces and it came out pretty close to factory looking

Humm am wondering what it looks like , plasti dip with clearcoat, maybe i should try it when i get my cans...i order some.
I just hope we dont lose the flat or matte finish of it
Depending on the clear you will get some shine in the finish

Yea, it'll end up looking like it was faded paint.
after i wet sand it gently with 2000 grid...so ( maybe i sand it too much dammit )

Where can you find this? I have gone to Home Depot and asked SPECIFICALLY for this stuff and they said they had no clue what it was
Any specific areas to look?
