Not really dsm specific but Im looking to run some Nylon pushlock for my wastegate and boost control however the line that runs from the turbo to the wastegate seems a little too close to the manifold.
If anyone else is using these what are you guys using to protect the nylon tubing from the heat of the manifold? The tubing says its rated to 250*.

That bcs is going to get hot as shit connected to the radiator. I secured mine to the crossmember below. I’ve used a few different types if thermal protection and all have been fine. Pretty much pick the correct size and you’ll be fine.

In wonder if it would be okay to just throw a rubber bushing under it. I like that it's close to the turbo and wastegate but I'll move it if I have to.

I'm likely in the minority, but I lost an engine due to a melted nylon wastegate line while on a road course. I'd recommend changing those out for SS braided lines. For heat protection (no matter which lines you go with), I recommend Insultherm.

That's unfortunate. These seem like such a great solution For this type situation outside of the heat capability. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

I always recommend against these plastic lines for the wastegate. I've seen them melt too many times. Including once on a customer's car at my shop - when it melted shut, the car overboosted. In my opinion, stainless braided -4an hoses are better suited for this.

I used this to cover my lines. solenoid located by alternator relay and ran lines all they way over to the gate. held 38psi. Can't see them in the pic but I ran them lower by the turbine housing and it never melted.
