Work station upgrades are finally coming together. Top left k11 mini computer going to a gpu doc with a external gpu. 43 ultra wide monitor, new laptop with a 9 ultra cpu. Both with 32 ram and 1 tb. The trusty bto computer will get a new case and turned into a nas . Homemade shelf above the monitor will store scanners and such.

Well round 2, second build . I acquired the last piece. Time for another rear diff build. This time with a ninga side cover. Parts for the rear diff, billet cover, evo center section, and let Jhon work his magic.

This part will be my build version of the 09 to 14 prius ? Eps conversion to the 2g dsm. I've seen vids and such , and I think i can do better. First off let's start with the eps it self. Rotate the torque sensor to the bottom by unbolting it (2 bolts) and rotating it 180. This will give more clearance when bolting it into the car, next rotate the motor by removing the 2 mounting bolts and rotating the motor a 180. This moves the wiring from the bottom to the top. So your feet are not rubbing on the wirring. For added clearance remove the bump outs on the case its self.

Sometimes you gota take a break . So on to the next. My version of a 3 guage holder in the center vent area with a 3000gt vibe. Still in prototype but im liking this one.

Ok back to the screen interface . Original was going with a dpad from a xbox contoler. Push down to select a item on screen then 360 movement. So its basically a simple mouse. Just because its a touch screen dosnt mean I want my big suage fingers smearing up the screen. So the Ole brain started thinking. Minimal sound insultion, no ac, loud stereo to compinsate. Well voice activation nope. So the hunt was on for the all in one. A mini joystick with a rotary function, for volume control. This would be mounted in the center switch hole of my cup holder so easy to reach. And finally found such a item. Greyhill 670c joystick with a rotary encoder, which I can use for volume up down and the rest for mouse activities push down to select and 360 movement .

670c is used in medical equipment, cnc equipment, and heavy equipment. Its very small in size and built to be abused.

Joystick mount completed. Didn't have to modify my cup holder design. Just make a stepped nut to account for thicknes.

It get wired to this board then outputs to usb which can plug into a mini pc or pi5.

Thank you sir. But when I get to wiring all this suff up. Im going to try using the pi5 I have with a car hat.

Im also thinking about modifying and making a didgital guage cluster instead of 1 flat panel. Multipule round lcd screens for a modified oem look. Also modifying these Innovative dual guges (5). From simple led to lcd so they can blender in with the speed and tach lcds. I want black background with orange needles and such. This pick is just a color look.

Ok this a very rough draft till I scan the guage cluster bezel. Move all idiot lights to the guages them selves. So. Left to right layout. Innovative coolant temp and volts. Tach and lt turn signal. Small round center fuel and 3 idiot lights, check engine, high beam, brake. Speedo and rt turn signal. Then the Innovative oil press and temp.

Things get tight , which i think they will i can do layers. Tach, speedo on top, then other guage below them.

This guage cluster might max out my plus 4 printer, so I might have to get the plus 4 max on cyber Monday.

I want to see where you go with this, I was considering something similar but decided to go with Speedhut gauges, however, they now have a CAN bus set of gauges that I wish I had waited for when I bought the ones I have now.

I second this. Although, with the AI piece dont always assume it is right as it has a tendency to be confidently wrong. Between that mentioned above and a bit of research anything and everything is possible (within reason).
