Apologies if I missed it , but how do you control the AC with this taking all that space ?

Awesome idea 💡

I deleted entire hvac system . I dont dive the car in winter, also its not my daily in summer. If its chilly for say cars and coffee I installed heated seats. Now if wanting to retaine hvac one could posably use the bender door actuators form a 3000gt or evo and the use the screen to control them.

I just love working with ai to get what's out of my head. 5 muti purpose dual read out guages 2 in the instrument cluster then 3 in center vent. These will be 2.1 inches diam ,

close to what's in the center vent now but a little bigger than what in the instrument cluster. A modern take on the oem. Rough layout needs more refinement. But you get the idea.

Learning a new program. Ok here you start to see whats going on . Im keeping a mitsubishi themed guage but will be adding some stuff to it again this will be in lcd with needles and such but with a twist. These are a little bit bigger than the oem guage. I am using a program called SquareLine_Project.

iPhone? They tend to over expose. Try holding down to focus on an area then dragging down on the slider that pops up to the right of it…

Going to be taking these guages next level. 4 inch lcd with its own controler. Fuel guage lcd with its own controller. Order more lcds 1.6 to be exact. The 1.6 will take the place of the original place of the original fuel, boost and so on . The 2.1 was way to big. The stips were the idiot lights reside can now house another 1.6 lcd in each side. For a total of 7 lcd screens for functional read outs in the oem cluster. Once I get the new face layout for guage position done and printed then I can work on a pcb that will send signal and power to each controler.

Here is somthing this generation of car dosnt have. The car hat pro has CAN. So it can send signals to the cluster then out to the vent guages. Some of the nice features of the carhat pro for the pi5.

Also another possibility. Im working on eps , electric powered stearing. So instead of pushing a physical switch. Ecm link thru pie could turn on and off eps at certain speeds.?

Working on pathways . Certain things are not in white board yet like were is power going and to what , the layers of the pcb panels and layers of the pi5 computer. Out puts for music also. This just basic and will continue adding to it.

This expansion board. Ties in on and off things . Like turnsignal flashing circuit. Parking brake, highbeam, hazard. Sends the pulse to the carhat pro. Then into the can bus.

The fuel sending unit since its not a on / off switch and not tied to link , well its values get sent to the guage cluster pcb the with its own magical circuit. Im new to this so bare with me on terms as im learning as I go.

Each round lcd screen will have its own glass cover and will be ditching the oem clear cover. I will be retaing the top and bottom layers of the guage cluster but will be designing a overlay panel onto of the flat surface to make way for the lcd round screens, pcb and trim away the oem housing as needed.

So im not 100,% sure but . I currently have maf converted to speed density, narrow band converted to wide band. I think i can input 3 more? Oil press, oil temp, and e85 into link ? I got more research to do.

After messing with different configurations , I finally came up with a layout. And made a 3d printed base . Which will continuously evolve. Waiting on a gpio extension and plug to route all those green block connectors to.
