I don't know if I'm an idiot or what but the same bolts came out of my old manifold but won't fit in it. The new bolts that the manifold came with are even longer so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to get these suckers in.

I would send a picture but my computer isn't wiling at the moment. Thanks in advance for the replies.

I'm talking about the 4 bolts that go in through the bottom. 2 can easily go in but the other 2 can't fit because of the circular pipes in the way

Sounds good, should I just get the same ones but just a tiny bit shorter?

Go to your local hardware store & pick up general purpose bolts to use for your exhaust mani to turbo? No, you shouldn't do that.

Post a pic of your issue, not sure what exactly your talking about. Stick to OEM bolts for all high heat areas.

this is true but last time i checked you can get cooper bolts at hardware stores witch are better than oem

Would lowes have those cooper bolts?

Heres a picture of my situation:

trust me, no matter what angle I go at, Im not getting it in there...

You will need shorter bolts or studs with nuts for that. Good luck with that cheap header, the flanges will likely be warped out of the box and it will crack. You should of just got a ported 2g or evoIII manifold.

i am sorry the o and p are next to each other copper bolts

i am looking it up right now because the one i have came with my turbo

A copper bolt is in no way stronger than the oem bolts. It is more corrosion resistant, but that is about it. A good ss or alloy steel stud is the way to go. I also have never before seen copper bolts at any local hardware store.

Ahhhh that's different. You just need some studs for the turbo.

If you don't want to order special studs, just get some quality bolts and cut the heads off. Then double nut it and install into turbo. Then grab the stud with a pair of pliers, right at the base of the flange, and take the nuts off.

you can use hardware store bolts as a temporary solution. They'll be fine for a couple weeks, probably even longer.

Could I just flip the bolts upside down and put them in that way? That way The head won't be hitting the manifold and it will fit in good

could I use copper bolts for now until i get oem ones?

As already started, don't use copper bolts. You're just going to be wasting more tome and money if you do. Your best solution has already been given to you by bryanwheat and born2tune. Get the stud set and you won't have any further problems. These cars take a lot of patience. Just have a little, and use the right parts the first time.

And I went to lows and the same bolts that came with the manifold
Were there. However, there weren't any that fit
Through still.

Go to an actual hardware store or a parts store, not a home improvement store. They will have a WAY bigger selection of bolts.

Lowes had shorter 10x1.25 bolts but they still wouldn't fit because the head was too big and they didnt have studs so I'm just going to buy the upgraded ones like born2tune suggested. Thanks for the help guys

Are you listening to what people are saying? You can get the studs at ace hardware.

As stated in here already, you need to go to an actual hardware store for the bolts so you can have a wider selection and a selection of grades as well.

You will want to get a stud for that front corner and make sure you use anti seize on the bolts. Keep an eye on the manifold for any cracking when you start driving with that installed. The eBay manifolds don't quite have the quality needed to last long at all especially with the heats generated and the weight of the turbos used.

Some have been fine using the generic brands but they are few-and-far between.
