blue, black, red, green

WHERE IS THE WHITE GSX or TSi's come on I know some one here that has them will post a pic.

Plz, with sugar on top.

Now what would really add to that would be if they offered clear corners with that similar "modification". It just looks weird to have those ultra-clear headlights right next to the foggy clear corners. They just clash too much. Otherwise I reeeally like those headlights, will definately be on my wish list.

just an update.. these lights are very very worth it with the HID's.... you see everything... they make me wanna drive more at night :)

I just ordered mine yesterday, i cant wait till they come in, it says on the 28th. So i'm looking foward to it. The HID kits are pretty expensive though. :thumb:

There's a vendor on Honda-tech.com that sells korean made HID kits for $250 shipped... The german made ballasts (hella) are more expensive I think, like $325-350

Those of you that have received these headlights and are putting HIDs into them:

Hi-Lo HID kits use a single HID bulb, correct? Is the switch between Hi and Lo triggered by the standard high beam switch in the DSM?

If so, since DSMs have two sets of bulbs, which location (low or high) do you install the HID bulb in? Do you remove the stock bulb in the extra slot, or do you set it up so that it can also light up? If so, how do you light them up? Do you install an additional switch to trigger the stock high beams? Or do the HIDs come with their own hi-lo switch?

This should all still apply if you're using single-beam HIDs (not hi-lo)... what do you do with the bulbs in the extra locations? Or do these projectors only have one bulb and a turn signal in each housing?

Also, for those of you that got HIDs... did you put them in the H4 location or the H3 location? Which bulb is low and which is high?

I asked for some for christmas...so hopefully I will get some! I'm debating leaving the chrome housing or doing black housing though... :thumb:

not really sure on what it is that your trying to ask exactly... its a direct plug and play.. take out your stock halogen bulbs place in your HID bulb and wire it up by pluggin the ground wire to the ground and the power to the power.. and your done... as for not knowing which light is hi beam and which is low, the outer lights are the low beams and the inner lights that are closer to the center of the car are your brights.. you leave the brights alone. and they'll work when you push the lever to turn on your brights they will work as normal... hope that answers what you needed to know, if not than im sure venom or someone can be more helpful... :dsm: happy holidays

If your asking this because your looking into buying an HID kit and you dont know whether to buy the HI/LO kit or just the regular kit, then the answer is: Just buy the basic kit that doesnt have the HI/LO feature, (all it really is, is a flap that moves to opposite sides of the bulb to direct light to a different part of the headlight lens) the HI/LO kit is only for cars that use one bulb for both HI and LO beams and want to keep their HI/LO feature so they're not stuck with just HID low beams, our cars on the other hand use two, so there is no need for it. :thumb:

Hope this helps

the set i got in my car are McCullcoch i think there called? anywheres there the 8000k.. i payed 319 shipped off ebay...

Thanks for the link

I'm looking to get a Phillips 4100K or a CATZ 4300K kit. The higher the K (Kelvin) scale, or "burn" temp. you go after the 4000-4500K mark your loosing GOOD glare-free usable light (IF its installed correctly), all of the 8000 or 9000K kits "burn" at a blueish-purplish tint and dont give you the best light quality and produce alot of glare. Plus they only give 100-200 or something like that more Lumena than regular halogens, but on the other hand the 4000-4500K range produces a brilliant white light that mimics sunlight like on Beemers, which use a Phillips D2S bulb that "burns" at 4100K, this produces a light that is 400-600 lumena brighter (or something like that) than halogen, and it also makes everything it lights up its natural color with no tint... like under sunlight.

But thanks alot for the link, i think i saw a 4100K or something in the 4's on there, so i'll get that if they have it.

I'll see if i can post some pics of the differences

Alright it works :thumb:

Heres the differences, and an example of glare:

(8000K HID kit in the headlights and right foglight, and the stock bulb in the left fog.)

(Below that: an 8000K kit, and a 4100K kit)
