New FP turbo

I'm just curious if this turbo is truly capable of the advertised 47 lb/min.

Curt Brown has already reported seeing 47-50lbs/min @ 25psi on his pump gas tune! I'd say this lil turbo is going to ROCK! :hellyeah:

Got my FP 68 HTA for my Suby, not installed yet. Compressor inducer diameter is 1.990". What is notable is the inducer tip height, much taller than an EVOIII 16g from the looks of it. Similar to the WRC turbos with their FIA restrictors, so they were forced to recounter the compressor wheels and go vertical instead of larger in diameter. Can't wait to install it.

No offense, but this is BS...:hmm::hmm:
47-50lbs/min, means around low ti mid 400's WHP and that @ only 25PSI- GOOD LUCK!!!

Even GT 35R, or HX-40, or 3065... wouldn't make that number at 25 PSI

Hmm, I disagree. Based on my numbers, a 2.0 Liter motor at 25 psi, 100*F intake manifold temps, and 7600 rpms would pull 47 lb/min, and 8000 rpms would net 50 lb/min. I pull my highest airflow myself around 7200-7300 on the EVOIII 16g, right around 44.6 lb/min and 21 psi. FP has already made it clear that in their extensive testing of 68 HTA compressor wheel in the EVO platform, they saw a choke flow of 47 lb/min.

I don't personally see the 68 HTA having any problem whatsoever pulling 47 lb/min on a 4g63 motor, and in the hands of Curt Brown the 50 lb/min number I wouldn't doubt for a second.
