Did a little more work today. Picked up the engine on wednesday. I was able to pay it off after winning $700 in a gun raffle. Heres whats been done so far.
Got the studs put in. woot.
Front case is on

Side shot. Block is painted cast iron color.
Just waiting on some parts I bought to show up to get some more work done
Well, time for an update. Me and slim took a little trip to PA to get a transmission from SBR Joe on tuners. Stopped by and met Jesse while we were in town. The trip went well and the corolla gave us no issues on the way there or back:jump: Heres some pics from the adventure.

Met up with Jesse. Slim got a couple photos of his ride
My trans that we picked up. Its out of a 92. Joe said it shifted good but one of the bearings went bad inside. It will be going to shep for a little love
I spend alot of time on this...
All in all it was a fun trip. It was cool getting to meet Jesse. Joe is a really cool dude too. Got to see his 14b race car and his 2g.
Now an update for what has been going on with the car:
Got the head all bolted down
HKS 272/272 cams
The head has a pretty nice porting job done to it.
I re-did all of the loom on the harness to get it looking fresh and clean. Got it re-installed in the car. Finally putting some stuff back in!
I also finished tearing down the front subframe. I am going to wash all the parts then send them to James for paint along with a few other things
Heres how she sits now. I keep the plastic over the bay to try and cut down on dust and whatnot getting in the nice clean bay
