I will be Posting Pictures very soon and will be updating project on a normal basis. currently are in the process of removing the 6 bolt out of the car to put in the almost finished built 6 bolt. I'm looking to have the car finished by the end of february and will be running the car at the 18th Annual DSM/EVO Shootout At Buschur racing also plan on putting the car on the Dyno. Wish me luck and any input will be helpful.

right now the cage is getting painted and I'm installing my New bucket seats along with my 5 pt harness and converting what is left of the interior to black, I'm also getting 4 drag radials and rims for the strip... i think its time for a parachute :) Im also planing on getting a ETS fmic down the road.
 
yah my friends were like What would you do if you were driving in a vette and seen you driving down the road on 4 DR's and a chute LOL... i shold have it all done and ready for the shootout.

Finally moving on to Speed Density I got a 3.3 bar map for now will go to an AEM 5 bar soon... also got some new ADJ timing gears. Recently went and filled up with E85 and got a nice tune. I am running 30psi @ martin US-131 this friday hopefully break into the 11's

thanks everyone. I am still far from done with the car. I will be posting pics of the interior and my 1 off intake manifold and the install after it gets done getting poweder coated. I will post up times after this friday and maybe some vids. :)
 
Well I have some upsetting news... The car did not perform well at the shootout. On my second run I blew the Shep trans up ending my day at the track. I got it back to the shop pulled the trans and am taking it to TRE. In the mean time i put a stock AWD spare trans in to drive on and a few days later my front Lower ball joint snapped at 45mph making a huge mess of things here are some pics..

Notice the ball joint pulled completly out. Along with the Axle. :cry::cry::cry:

Damn man what a mess, sometimes i wonder why we continue to try with these cars LOL.

anyways glad to hear you step up to Speed Density, but can i ask why you decided to go with fidanza cam gears instead of AEM, HKS, BC??? i never really like the quality of my fidanza cam gears back when i bought mine in 2006.
 
well I just could really not figure out the big difference between the AEM and HKS compared to the Fidanza gears. They seem to be working great. We have these on a couple shop cars with no problems. What were the probs you were having?
 
well I got the car back up and running today and decided to have a little fun.. Almost to my 30 Psi goal. so far no knock. 12.1 A/F ratio.... on E85 and revving all the way to 9000 RPM's

Ya i haven't been in Allen's car since he turned to boost up. It looks like he is going to have to upgrade the boost control solenoid on the tru boost to push any higher. It sure seems like it is ripping ass though.. We need to log the car to see what his 70-90s are and check out the idc's.

Well the car is back up and running. I am taking it to the drag strip Friday and hoping to run 25-30 psi and break into the 11's I will try to post a log up for everyone.

Also if anyone has an extra side skirt cap im in need of one LOL.
 
LoL yah ill see what i can do. There is a video of my launch from the Shootout that I seen on here, unfortunately it was the video of the run i blew my trans in.
