Junk Electric Supercharger or Turbo [Merged 1-7] intake fan gimmick

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

It doesn't help anyone. It was tested on RDTiburon.com by a member there and they found that the vacuum of the engine draws more air than the fan in that stupid little computer fan can even put out. It was a restriction in the intake and actually caused a decrease in power.

however it may be worth it to buy and just use the filter.. and play around shooting things out of the fan housing with a spare battery

There for, not worth it. Buying things off ebay are a hit and miss. It's advised to stay away on this site but you can make things work. Many people use exhaust from eBay and few others.

My friend put one of those on his 1.6 Geo Tracker and it was hilarious to watch him flip the switch and think that it actually did anything. Regardless, this kidd put a propane tank in it and ran a tube to one of his vacuum lines thinking it was like NOS. :ohdamn:

A long time ago we hooked a leaf blower up to a buddies civic, it actually made about a pound of boost and ran like a raped ape with the blower at full throttle.. By no means was it fast but it was pretty amusing to say the least.

Anyone Seen This Supercharger before it claims to work for any car.

Was researching online.. google searches lead to

and that lead me to --->

Uses the battery to make power. Up to 15HP they say. What you guys think?
