Sounds like you need to start with some basic research before you move any further.

That's what everybody told him when he started the electric supercharger thread.

I found a 60 trim turbo on ebay minus the wastegate for $116.00 so, I bought it. I thought I would buy a supercharger and not a turbocharger but I went with the turbo even though a belt driven supercharger would spin the compressor faster than a exhaust driven turbocharger.

This was kinda dumb question, sorry I'm kinda tipsy right now ROFL

Care to expalin, its news to me that a belt driven supercharger will spin faster then a turbo  As for the turbo do you have the link of what turbo you picked up for that kind of money. Either you got a really good deal on a used turbo or you picked up ssautochrome, xspower turbo, in which case hopefully it will last longer then others have seen. Couple sayings come to mind, you get what you pay for, if its to good to be true... it probably is.

Well turbo's spin around 100,000 rpm,so thats one hell of an underdrive pulley to get that supercharger that fast.

the turbo is always better than supercharging but at 116$ will it safely boost at any pressure keep an eye on it is my advice or dont install it period

Nowhere in that ad does it say it's a 60trim, where in the hell did you get the idea that it was. It says plain as day that its a KKK27 and has a Porsche/BMW flange on it which obviously won't bolt up to any dsm manifold. He even says the following:

I RECOMMEND A REBUILD AND YOU WILL HAVE ONE AWESOME TURBO

For god's sake man you live less than 2 hours drive from the guy who practically created the nt-turbo swap craze (me) and you never considered contacting me in anyway?

Dude, do yourself a favor and sell your N/T and go buy a turbo Eclipse. Cause if you don't your going to screw up your car HARDCORE:notgood:

BTW Where can you get a supercharger for a 4G63, do they even make such a thing????

#Call me dumb# but, I like taking things from other cars and modifing to work for with my car yet, I know it's sad but sometimes they work and sometimes they flop. As far as the ebay turbocharger goes, I e-mailed him and he swore to me it was a 60 trim but I was confused because the auction said it was a kkk27, I was going to rebuild it when I got it and make a flange that will bolt up on my car. I'm sorry mavisky but, I'll remeber that

I was doing some reading on electric superchargers and I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about them or if you know they are good or bad. The biggest thing i am wondering is that are they worth the money? cause they are kinda expensive, or at least the ones in the mag. i read... about 200 bucks.

The only real one was Knight's, and it took three starter motors hooked up on an extra battery to run. You'd get about thirty seconds out of it, then the load of driving it would be spread out by your alternator as it brought the auxiliary battery back up.

Oh, and the orange light is for your washer fluid level.
