Junk Electric Supercharger or Turbo [Merged 1-7] intake fan gimmick

Anyone used this? They claim 5-15 HP gains...even on an already compressed intake system. 1-3 pounds of boost from an electric fan for $300. Let's hear it, anyone got one, anyone got pics? Howabout dyno test scores? The ones on the web site look good...but they ARE selling it.

I am 99% positive that your engine can inhale much more air than that little fan car create, which in my mind, would create a huge restriction in the intake, especially at wot in high rpm.

Would have worked better if they had some more fuel for all that extra air..... they are running lean and will melt a piston!!

OP - Good rule of thumb, if a product claims to increase power and it doesn't involve bolting a turbine to the exhaust system or somehow attaching to the belt-drive, chances are it doesn't do squat. (Unless of course it's being sprayed out of a bottle )

Pretty much the same motor as a remote controlled car, might make a decent in-cabin fan if you've deleted your Ac system Haha.
