You could almost use bondo dare I say and before it hardens press maybe a used or old emblem in there to give you your insert. Just an idea that popped into my head. I'm just going to fill it even though I'd love to have the emblem there. Bondo might even be hard to use since it hardens so fast. I'd love to see what you plan on doing.

I don't know what type of material is the aftermarket bumper made of, but if it's stamped somewhere I'd try to 3D print these filling pieces from the same material and then glue them in using proper chemical (like acetone based chemicals when joining two ABS parts). Then sand it as smooth as possible and fill only small spots with some kind of plastic putty.

Since you’re filling it in anyway, did you consider making your own emblem to fit the existing triangle? Seems maybe a little easier to me.
I'm considering everything ;-) Before I make a move on it, I'm going to see what kind of talent is working at the body shop, and see if they have a product that will bond, sculpt, and sand.

That was my mistake. This past summer the paint started to chip pretty bad. The most recent bumper I bought actually has a sticker on the inside telling you to wet sand before painting.
