I installed my Innovative wideband about a month ago and my car will die if I do not run it everyday. The battery and alternator are good so I am going to tell you guys how I wired it in to see if I did it right. The wideband model was the XD-16.

12v source for the gauge is connected with my boost gauge thru the cigarette lighter fuse.

Grounds for the gauge and LC-1 are grounded to the same spot on a bracket by the cd player.

Power source for the LC-1 is ran through my sunroof fuse.

Autozone told me with my ignition off, it still has power going through. The gauges do not turn on til i turn the ignition to the on position. Any help would be great guys.

Any help?

The power source for the LC-1 is still 12V, I'd rewire the power source for the LC-1 to the cigarette lighter and see if that corrects the problem. I've never heard of anyone running a power source off of their sunroof fuse, that could be the cause of the wierd battery drain problem your getting.

I would get the Low Voltage Error when I had my LC-1 and XD-16 connected to the cigarette lighter. I ended running a dedicated line (12 AWG) for WideBand and Gauges, switched by a relay connected to cigarette lighter.

The WideBand and Gauge should be connected to the same power source, or a power/ground offset may cause current to flow thru the signal wire.

mine is connected to sunroof fuse and does not cause that problem
Are both your gauge power and wideband power running off the sunroof fuse? I think the problem he's having is he's got the gauge running off the cig. lighter power and the wideband off the sunroof power.

I connected the gauge and lc-1 both to the sunroof fuse and the gauge came on without the ignition on. I moved them both to the cig lighter and it does not come on til the ignition and I am not getting any codes for low voltage and the wideband works so hopefully this fixes it. I'll find out by tommorrow.
