I absolutely cannot figure out the instruction manuals for the Innovate LC-1 Wideband and the Innovate XD-1 Digital dash display.

On the LC-1 there are 7 wires, and the instruction tell you what they are, but I need more info. Questions I have are:

Analog out 1, 2, and ground - Will I not be using these wires at all since I am using a digital dash display unit?

Black = Calibration Wire. Apparently the XD-1 digital dash display unit offers calibration, but no where in the instruction for it does it say what wire that is. Nor does it say how to hook it up to an XD-1. It only tells you how to hook it up to a switch and LED. What do I do with the black wire on the LC-1 if I want to use the XD-1 for calibration?

If the XD-1 offers calibration, then I want to use it and not some RadioShack push button and LED like the LC-1 instructions suggest.

I guess to state more simply my questions, if you have the LC-1 and/or the XD-1, please explain to me in greater detail where these wires go?

Confused and frustrated...

Analog outputs connects to ecu and are used to simulate narrowband lambda.

If your not using the outputs you should still connect the analog output ground to a good system ground..

Remember to connect the terminator plug to LC-1 input and you can calibrate your sensor though XD-1

I've got them hooked up, but I guess I did something wrong. Here is what I've done:

LC-1
Red = 12V switched with ignition key
Blue, White & Greed = chassis ground
Yellow, Brown & Black = didn't use

Analog OUT on LC-1 going to Analog IN on XD-1

XD-1
Red = 12V switched with ignition key
Black = ground

I am getting no signal to the XD-1. When I turn on the car, it just shows dashes, which the manual explains means it's not getting a signal and to check the connections. I checked the connections, all are fine.

Why am I not getting a signal?

Did you connect the terminator plug to LC-1 in port?

That would explain things..

The heater ground and calibration gnd are fine to the chasis..

I would run the other GND's to the o2 sensor GND going to the ECU and the 0-1v analog output to the ECU..

02 harness black the GND black not the + black are two its a floating GND on the ECU..

o2 harness white for the 0-1v analog..

Guys, I'm needing a bit more detail in your descriptions.

I know what the O2 sensor ground is (blue wire on original O2), but what is the 0-1V analog output, and to where on the ECU does it go? I thought that the analog outputs are stereo cables. How can I hook up a single wire to a stereo plug cable?

Please don't assume I know what 0-1V analog means, floating ground, where on the ECU things go, what certain wires are called, etc. All I know is what color wires I have on my LC-1 and XD-1. If you could simplify things and tell me which color wire on the LC-1 goes to which color wire on the car/ECU/original O2, that would really help.

Thanks for your help...

the blue on the 02 is sensor ..

The o2 heater gnd is a black wire...

Either would work but the blue is the best baseline gnd to base a sensor reading from..

Get a sterio jack and connect the GND of the anolog output to the blue o2 wire. Then the hot of the analog output to the white o2 wire...

One of the analog outputs is for giving the ECU a narrowband style signal so you can still have closed loop o2 feedback at idle & cruise with just a single o2 sensor and OE ecu.
