It idles fine but runs rich, and when it's at WOT the engine will not rev past 3500-4000 rpm's.

I would view it as 2 different (possibly unrelated) problems. Start with the rev issue. When you WOT it and it hits 3500-4000rpms, is it running like crap? Is it missing? Lots of black smoke out the tail pipe? It could be an intake leak. My car it totally different, but one time, in band camp, my vacuum hose to my HKS VPC's pressure sensor came off and my car was running horrible. Wouldn't rev, coughing, sputtering, black smoke. Finally I did a leak test and found the disconnected line. (Just a thought).

If it is running smoothly, but just won't rev, I would not discount the error code in the computer. If it keeps triggering the TPS error, then there IS a TPS problem of some sort. I would check the linkages and make sure the throttle is opening properly and that the TPS sensor is giving a smooth range from closed to 100% open. And I wonder if those values at the TPS are making it into the ECU? I agree that a cut / pinched / loose / disconnected wire could be sending your TPS values into oblivion.

These are just guesses, maybe something different to check. If any of this happens to help I'll email you my paypal address. ;)

Have you disconnected your down pipe?Stopped up cat.Try advancing the timing.Could be a tooth off on cam sprocket.Have you watched voltage to coils during miss?Do you own a 2 way l.e.d. test light? If so you can watch injector pulses see if theyre going away at rpm limit.Just thought of it,is the ecu(s) from an automatic? Some autos have a "park" rev limiter at 3500-4000.-hope it helps.
