Hello.

As the title says, I want to figure out how to log crankcase pressure. I’ve recently installed 2 8AN fittings on the top of my valve cover and want to ensure they are efficient enough.

How would I set up to see my crankcase pressure in a log? If possible. I swear I’ve read it somewhere, but I can’t find anything related to logging CC pressure. Thanks guys.

Use a 2 bar map
I was reading Calan’s catch can post and that’s where I initially read it. I knew I read this somewhere! He stated he just ran a boost pressure sensor and T’d off the valve cover AN fitting. I think I’ll do that. Or run it from that alignment hole in the back of the block.

Using either a universal boost pressure sensor or a two bar map sensor, they both wire in the same way as the post @DSMPT shared, I’m assuming. I’m a terrible electrician, but I should be able to figure it out.

Shouldn't if you mount the sensor up from wherever you're tapping in, its just a small diaphragm that senses pressure differential, so as long as things can't drip down the line it shouldn't foul out, at least not for a long time.

I’m trying to figure out what sensor to buy/how to install it/wire it. I was assuming I could find a map sensor with a threaded end I could thread into the back of the block via a male 10X1.25 to female NPT adapter. I can’t find an example on how someone has done this outside of calans.
