Hey there, I need help finding an exhaust manifold (non-turbo) that won't cost me a ton of money but is still worth while. I've thought about ones on ebay for $80 with a downpipe and claim that it's stainless, but I haven't bought one before so I wouldn't know to trust them or not. Any help would be appreciated :)

If you get an ebay tubular mani, make sure to get the flanges flattened before installing or its a guaranteed exhaust leak. Why are you looking for a new mani?

Ok and how would I flatten them? It sounds self explanatory but I want to make sure is all. My current one has cracks about 2 inches in places so I figured buying a new one would be better than repairing this one. If it can be anyways.

I don't recommend ebay exhaust for the reason Familyman says. I had one and it was a constant battle to try to keep it sealed up. The flange on mine couldn't be flattened with a 20 ton press enough to make it seal. I finally went FP mani, but mine is a turbo car. Really on a non turbo car unless it is very bad, I don't see it being as big of a problems unless your car is running really crappy. My tuner couldn't tune mine the leak was so bad. Just my 2 cents on ebay exhaust. :banghead: :nono: Check out the classifieds, they are a good source for good used parts.

Ok thanks! I will browse around and see what's out there for used ones. I'm sure there's something. Really appreciate it!

For the 4g63 n\t, there are not many aftermarket options. The materials used for the headers should be 304 stainless, and you should have no problems with the ebay parts. Ive used numerous parts from different manufacturers on ebay when I did my 420a turbo conversion. I used a cast log manifold, turbo, wastegate, 3"catback, intercooler and pipes, and Glowshift gauges from ebay dealers. Worked great @8-10psi and put down power.

My Galant VR4, on the otherhand, has had her parts meticulously chosen and I have about 3k into it in proven perfomance parts.:dsm:
