I'm looking into building some custom intercooler piping and while searing for mandrel bends I found this. I thought it was so cool that I had to share it. I'm sure some of you have seen it before, but for those who haven't... I think it's pretty ingenious!

I saw the guy on muscle car or two guys garage use these before and they loved them. Definitely a good way to ensure equal length headers and route things around the engine bay.

Pvc hose and connectors is still just as good as this and its about 90% or more cheaper then this aswell and a lot still use pvc to mock up exhausts

These have been out for several years; no, they are not cheap. If you have a CNC bender and are not using Weld "L's" this works nice, but they are a bit overkill for the hobbyist looking to make manifolds for themselves.

We use them at the shop that I work at. The kits really are a cool idea, it's the rest of the fab process that's not as cool, haha.

Makes it easy for positioning everything and mocking up quickly or creating a jig much easier.

Wtf are you talking about? The fabrication part is the most fun!! Your in the wrong field boyo.

That's why I'm the body tech/sheet metal fabricator and not the exhaust guy, haha. I work in a hot rod shop, and I've tried figuring out how to route primaries around steering shafts and in engine bays in cars with engines way to big for the car they are in, haha... needless to say I have no interest in trying to be the exhaust guy. =P At least not headers. I'd be came for a 3 inch stainless system though :thumb:
