Alright so i wanna build a header. What i wanna know is, do they make a kit for doing this. That will come with the t3 flange, exhaust manifold flange, and some piping to get u started. Enless you can tell me a place localy that should have all that kinda stuff.

Thanks in advance any help is appreciated

There is a lot of planning involved in building a header. You can find the flanges on most vender sites, but the piping will have to be custom but by you.

If you want a "kit" why not just by a pre-made. I feel that if you have to ask a question like this, you're likely over your head :idontknow:

Best bet is to buy the flanges, and look up some blue prints or something equivalent.

I personally would just buy a premade header.

Thanks this is what i wanted so i atleast have a big jump on it vs buying a collector and a head glange then trying to see what i need at least with this i can get a pretty good idea where i want things routed i know ill ###### have to get a few more pieces to get what i want but i have lots of family who are welder fabricators union welders so they can do it i know forsure they build big diesel trucks for a living

Make sure they tig weld it, and make sure you back purge it. Flood the inside of the tubes with argon, otherwise it will sugar and cause weak spots. Theyll try to argue you wont need it LOL im sure. But just make sure they do.

O they dont scimp on anything man they are total gear heads love car stuff they said they have made them before for old v8 cars back in the day haha :)

Right, but back in the day most people wouldnt backpurge. They didnt find it necessary.

A turbo manifold is much much different then some headers on a v8.

Alot of the old timers will just weld it together and do an excellent job at it. But without gas on the inside of the runners it will sugar. Maybe it doesnt matter on thin wall tubing for headers and what not but it does on something that is going to hold a 40lb or turbocharge with intense heat and vibration
