Header: 2g stock vs ebay tubular?

What do you use the car for? If it's a lightly modded DD, go with the 2g for sure. Tubular manifolds are prone to cracking and generate more underhood heat. eBay ones are even more known to crack.

People have seen great results on a port/polished 2G mani. That's what I'm going to, myself.

There is a reason that some headers cost 1200 dollars and up and some cost 200. Thats all im saying. If its a ebay pacesetter i have seen those crack countless times. If its a knock off of the DNP then it will probably crack too. You cant really wrap them because it will make it more likely to crack unlike a better built header. The stock 2g is pretty good. I have only ever seen 1 of the stock 2g manifolds ever crack. If you plan to run a MHI turbo the gains you will see over a header vs manifold are slim to none unless your building some crazy setup and trying to pull 500 hp out of a 16g.

I would stick with the 2g mani for sure, ebay Is known to sell parts that are half ***. Best bet for a cheaper mani that has countsless good reveiws would be the fp mani. Not only dose it flow more but it looks cool too! Save your money and look for the FP sale. Some times you can find them for $175 on sale!

What about the DSM EVO III High Flow Manifold? Would that be better than the Stock 2g DSM Mani? - Ryann :talon:

Yes it has a bigger collector. You could just port the stock 2g manifold and get similar results.

Nice! I'll keep my stock 2G Mani then! That's what I was going to upgrade too but if I can get similar results even better!:hellyeah: - Ryann :talon:

If you really want an aftermarket exhaust manifold do yourself a favor & buy a Forced Perfomance Racing Exhaust Manifold & I'm more than pleased with my purchase before I bought it I was running a stock 2g manifold.
