OK heres my first update for the ebay project!!!! If you missed the first thread, im building my car by buying all my parts on ebay to answer alot of questions about ebay buying. Pictures and videos coming soon!!!

The first part has arrived which is the ebay header. Decent looking piece, except the down pipe has no place for the o2 sensor. Question is. is there any solution to this??? I was thinking of cutting arround the stock o2 and welding it to the ebay one. HELP!!!

are you going to be doing dyno runs? anything that will put out numbers? how are you putting the parts to the test?

I will be doing a dyno run here and there but I cant afford to hit the dyno for every part. Just not in my budget, sorry. right now I have some maintnance to tend to before my next part as you can see ive been leaking oil out the valve cover in the picture. I have a gasket kit from ebay just havnt put it on yet. tomorrow im flying back home for 2 weeks SAN DIEGO here I come... When I get back im gonna order the rest of the cat-back, and though it sounds weird ill be replacing my Injen intake for a Ebay Intake. At that point ill do the dyno run for the basic bolt ons. After that more maitnance and then start preping for turbo. Good Path? No? Dive me some input guys.

The one I purchased had the o2 sensor bung already on the header itself and not on the downpipe. Only thing I'm curious about is there is this one port which has a cap on it....do not know exactly what it is.....

i have the exact same header and down pipe and for the price i guess im happy. i have been running mine about 4 years and until recently the header cracked around the upstream o2 sensor bung. not a major issue i guess but i thought i'd share my experience with my ebay header.

Go back and look at post #41, reading does wonders.
