another ebay header...

That is not new, it is a Pacesetter tubular header. If you want one of those stick with the ceramic coated version. Otherwise it wont look good for very long.

well, look at that, I musta missed that part of the description (being as I read as far as what it fits, and how much it cost)

I wasn't caring so much about how it looked as I was about how well it works. I am without exhaust manifold on my gsx, and was looking into possibly getting a header if it's cheap enough, rather than getting a stocker replacement... might still get a EVO manifold *shrugs*

The pacesetter is a real pos. I got one and first it caught fire and no I was not told to paint it before the install. About 3 months later the gaskets melted. Now if you still want one I will sell you my old one for $40 then you can call pacesetter and get the gaskets for about $20. Atleast if you do it that way you can learn a $60 lesson instead of a $150 one.

I now have an obx t-304 tubular manifold for a t3/t4 turbo. I have no problem with it and it looks really nice. If I had it to do over again I would get the evo 3 manifold ported. With so many bolt on 50 trims available the e3 mani is a good choice.

Yea, did a search on the pacesetter after someone pointed out that's what kinda header it is, and read the comments... looks like a really nice concept, but in need of work... I've read everything from the gaskets being crap, to the welds needing reinforcement... so I'll probably not get one of them... however, I may hit you up on that offer, as I'm without ANY kind of exhaust mani right now, and I really am trying to get this car running cheap so I can start driving it before I start tuning it... If I do want it, I'll PM you in a week or two, otherwise, it looks like it has the potential to be a fine chunk of someone's art project :)
