I have a big 16G that I have been staring at and it's killing me. I just don't want to slap it on I want to do it right. I have been doing my homework but I keep getting more ?'s than answers. My setup is stock 1G as far as engine goes (except free mods) `94 TSi 2.5" dynomax ultraflo catback. I also have a walbro 255 (not yet installed) and I rewired my stock pump. I have been checking out manifolds and I think I may go with the SBR manifold or the Evo manifold. I am still undecided about the exhaust whether to replace the downpipe and o2 with 2.5" or go full system 3", money is tight but would 3" be a gain worth the money? Also if I get my manifold, turbo, turbo back exhaust installed with the walbro fuel pump what else will I need? Can I get away without bigger injectors and SAFC as long as I leave the boost alone until I can afford them? Will the stock FPR holdup or should I replace that also? I am just trying to avoid melting down the motor, I have a newly purchased pocketlogger that I intend to use to monitor things and a useless autometer A/F meter, i am either going to get programmed or replace with a EGT. Anybody who could answer a few of my ?'s or could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
