do i have big 16g???

ok guys back once again. Big mofo problem i am very certain that i got bunked . just bought my very first dsm about month and a half ago said it had a b16g the numbers on the hot side are 49n5s26nh2. and on the cold it just says

From what I've been told, a 16g turbo will have a A set of big blades and a smaller set between them. The stock turbo will have equal length blades. Hope this helps. Thats the way I've always been able to tell.

i will take off the intake boot tomorrow. from what i have reseached it dosnt seem to be no number on the cold/good looking side whats a good site to pick one up if it is not???

I would try Modern automotive performance. I just ordered a 6 bolt flywheel from them for 70 bucks cheaper than other sites. But you could also try like Slowboyracing.com or other big sites.

no number on the boost side just the hot an i ran that number and got nothing....if my cam was working i would just post a pic

Where does the intercooler pipe connect to the compressor housing at? Is there some sort of j-pipe off the compressor? You say it is "BIG", but does it utilize a bolton mitsu exhaust housing or are you running some sort of non-mitsu flanged manifold? ...just to clarify it says absolutely nothing on the compressor cover?

Either way it's pretty easy to spot a 16g/14b just by the existence of a j-pipe with a mitsu hot-side.

intercooler pipe at the bottom of the turbo right off the boost side/or the side with the intake to it and on that same side on the turbo it says this
just like this.....w l....same to a t.....it has a 2gtb and a 1g header....sorry for this confusion by the way i just have a side mount not a front just have hard pipes to it if that helps....???? and yeah its not a t 25 and no its not scrapped down or anything....

yea he texted me about this earlier im completly stumped trying to figure out what kinda turbo that is..i sold that car to another guy with a ginuine big 16g which had the 014-20 serial with a big 42 etched in it..but im guessing the douchebag he got the car from ####ed him over and took that one off and put some off brand turbo on it.he says it dont have td05h on it so i know for a fact its not the same turbo that was on there when i sold it to the other guy...oh and he says it has braded oil lines if that help any..he said the guy had like 8 2gs sitting around in the shop so im guessing the guy swapped a stock t25 in there

Yeah, you are seeing it right. Its a blank spot that they etch the number into. There's a 2 there: 49179-52020

A FP DSM Green (Garrett 50-trim compressor, TD06H turbine).

You can't always trust the part number on the compressor cover.

Big 16 G does have the longer and shorter blades inside the turbo. It also does only say TD05H.
