This may sound like a dumb question to alot of you, but approximately what mods would I need for my 96 Eclipse RS to get it to run 13's? I currently have cat-back, BOSCH platinum-2 plugs, and an AEM cold air intake. My next mods I plan on are a Matrix strut bar and headers and a high-flow cat. What other mods would I need to get me there?

Complete bottom end rebuild with forged internals.
Complete head rebuild with mild cams and minimal porting.
Supporting intake/exhaust mods.
Aftermarket turbo system pushing about 10psi on pump gas.
A lot of practice.

You might think N2O, but you'd still need to rebuild the bottom to handle the juice to run 13s imo. :talon:

dont know if this will get you there but it will probably get you close

75 wet shot(thats pushing it on stock, may want to go 50, and dont go dry thats for sure.)
crane 12 cams
cam gears
af/x udp
S-AFC cuz afx doesnt make a ecu for your model
P&P intake mani, and head
Bored out TB.

if you rebuild your bottom end, up the compression, and raise to maybe 100 shot, you will probably get it. but the above is a start to get close without any HUGE investments

Thanks for your help. Do you guys know any good places that sells rebuild parts for my engine that I'd need for this goal?

this is a good site for NT parts. i was gonna link you directly to the rebuild section but the catalog doesnt seem to be working at the moment, but the homepage is... so just check back in a little bit.
