What do i need to run 13's

So, on the high side we're at 19.1 :p

I would say the low side is pretty close to 15.8. That's what I ran with my almost bone stock 99 OZ edition (had just a short ram and a 60mm TB on it). Now, I DID run my slicks on that.

Generally, you'll run in the 16's to 17's stock.

MB

So you ran 15.8 bone stock with a sri and 60mm tb? I wonder what i'll run now.

my dial in at bandimere speedway in my 97 GS was a blistering 19.1 :hellyeah:

i don't remember my trap speed but i do know my 60fts weren't over 2.4 on those stock 5 spoke 16's and i had a CAI and catback exhaust too... the only thing that was the killer there was the altitude 5,860ft above sea level, motors gasping for air all the way down the track as a N/A. anyway, im not saying thats what all N/A's would run but thats how fast i was getting down the track. :applause: when my car ran those 19.1's i wasn't granny shifting either, i was double clutching like i should :applause:

:dsm:

Bandimere as in Colorado's track? If so don't forget Banidimere is at 5764ft.

I would get a small turbo upgrade as you Jake are n/a and some fuel supporting mods with a decent tune should hit your mark of 13.00. Also slicks will help out alot with traction. My buddy Kyle has a gs with a50 trim and no tune and hit's 14.1 on street tires and fully interior.

i know bandimere is WAY up there, i still think a 19.1 is disappointing when your a 17yr old and you think your cars fast. :toobad:

Nothing, really. Just make sure your car is properly maintained and the engine is in good condition. The stock bottom end can handle quite a bit of power.

Unorthodox Racing

That's pretty much the only pulley available anymore. There are no more UDP's from any competitors and there were never any overdrive pulleys for the accessories.

That's not really the point... basic log style manifolds can be had for next to nothing these days. IC piping kits and such are easily available too, so you don't have to weld.

Using the method Chris outlined in his article, you don't even have to tune anything... the 12:1 FMU gets you close enough for up to around 8psi.

Do youu think the whole udp take away too much power from other pully ran parts iss crap or do you think its not safe?

I only have a few mods on my car, with it properly tuned and boosting around 18 psi (daily driving) i'm hoping to run around 13's, shouldn't be hard i don't think, correct me if i'm wrong. Still working with the t25 since it's still in really good condition and no shaft play minimum excess oil.

It's perfectly safe as long as the UDP is installed correctly. The Chrysler engineers designed the accessories to operate less efficiently than they truly are. The UDP just diverts some energy that would normally go into the accessories to the drivetrain. The accessories don't behave noticeably different. I've had an AF/X UDP on my car for years.

Most of us have UDP's, they function as advertised and are safe.

Monitor your IAT's and knock if your boosting 18psi on a t25.

alright man thanks.

I have a friend with some crane stage 2 cams for sale for way cheap. I dont think they make crane cams anymore but does anyone know how good/ reliable they are?

19:1 ?????? Did you forget to give it gas???!!!!!!!!

Were you ridding a bike or driving the car LOL
theres no way a bonestaock eclipse runs 19s your shifting must be off or had clutch slip ............

ROFL ROFL ROFL
my clutch was solid and my 60ft times were between 2.3 to 2.5 secs. im not saying that it couldn't have needed a driver mod but once the tires hook its not hard to put your foot through the floorboard and shift at 6.5k. i still own the car and she's got 170,xxx on the clock. that same stock clutch i used to race with is still in it and holding the insane 150 ft. lbs. of torque that 420a throws at it. like i said above racing at that altitude kills E/T's, especially N/A cars...
