Kyle, the panhard is a one off along with the rear (only one of two) Mitsubishi race anti-roll bar among other stuff. I don't know what John's plans are with his specail chassis set up stuff since the resurrection of Muellerized suspension systems. But I'll ask him for sure...
This is something I'd likely be interested in as well if it becomes a possibility.
That is a very nice looking car Slapnut, I hope you get yours like that.

i enjoy reading your threads, Greg. you have influenced me, and my automotive enthusiasm deffinatly leans towards road racing (in an area dominated by mostly 1/4mile times) because of it. i look foward to reading more of your adventures this season; keep up the good work and best of luck!
Yeah i have to admit, you two guys are really inspirational.I will be starting hpde after this cold ass winter. If you're gonna start HPDE then it's all worth it... the more road racers the better :thumb: :rocks:

This weekend at 6PM at Dave and Busters NASCAR ballroom, in Orange County California. You should be there at 5 Kyle and don't forget to wear your tux...

Well a minor setback with the flight to cali and my tuxedo shop, but I'll be arriving about 5:30 by stagecoach. I'll be easy to spot though greg, I did just get my wookie suit back from the dry cleaners LOL

Mitch form Engintecs is spending long hours in the shop getting the motor ready for the long shipment from Chicago Illinois to San Diego California. He got the FP3 cams ready for install and then it's some porting and EGT bung welding on the EVO exhaust manifold. All the misc. parts for the build have arrived so it looks like we may be home free for this big bad boy motor.

I continue to work on the front valence of the car here in San Diego trying to create a better air flow for the FMIC. We're all doing double time trying to make ready for testing in the second week of February...

We're all so frigging tired we could die! Racing... isn't it greatLOL ROFL :sneaky: :rocks: :tease:  :toobad:  ROFL ROFL

And the re-fabrication of the front valence (body kit) continues...

Latest update: Martin Ruiz of THE SPEED FACTOR is coming on board for 2006 and sponsoring the new PTE turbo system... how cool is that?:thumb: :rocks:

Not sure how you missed the laser light show and me in my wookie outfit, but hey maybe next year :D

BTW, it's my honest opinion that you deserved a bigger trophy. What in the world did the guy at the table behind win? His is twice as large, I think it's an anti-plymouth conspiracy.

I was wondering what all those lights were about. :D

All the 1st place trophies were the same size as Greg's, and very nice. The one in the back ground was introduced this year for the Porsche 944 class by their director, and the winner's name will be added to it each year.

I know we now have three '90 Lasers (HPDE), plus Greg's, to run here next year. We picked up the second one a month ago and we just received the 3rd, from Las Vegas today. Maybe we should start a Plymouth Laser trophy!!! :sneaky:

Hey thanks Tom... it was great to see you, Ginger, and Dave, in the Super Unlimited camp:rocks: It was a fun night of racers talking about what they all have in store for each other this year on the track. We had a huge group of Time Trial guys there excepting their awards for their season of energy. To my amazement there weren't enough tables to go around for all the people who showed up!

Well, it's back to the garage for some wheel bearing replacements! There's only three weeks left until testing at Willow Springs OMG Oh... My... God...!

Yep, that was really a great evening. You know there did seem to be as many TT'rs as racer's trophies given out last nite.

I know David is jazzzzed with the new Laser and ready to get started on it. We didn't do much to that car today, but we did finished up most of mine. I finally got another Paxton AFPR for it, and put the new Megan full 3" downpipe, on. The car sounds good and strong!!! We've actually done quite a bit to mine in the last several weeks. Maybe I'll post up a thread on it.

Our friends that delivered the car yesterday went back last nite and LOST OMG their trailer off the truck. No one was hurt the trailer was ok, it hit a ditch and stopped, and they went back this morning and picked it up. David could have had his car end up out in the desert, in who knows, what condition.

edit) sp error

Greg,

Thanks for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of this tremendous project. We really look forward to working with you in any way that we can this season.

Marti
The Speed Factor

THANK YOU Marti!!! It's because of you and companies like The Speed Factor that people like me can stay competitive.:thumb: There's no way I could keep up with the caliber cars I'm racing against on my own!

Again, thank you for coming on board:rocks:

Greg

With the front valence (bodykit) customization complete I got a "loaner" FMIC the same dimensions as the PTE, then fabricated brackets and was able to check for body fitment. All looks good with the FMIC sitting at 30 degree angle giving me a clear four inches of fresh air underneath. I/C piping should be no problem as I removed all unneccesary sheet metal obstructions... The Stoptech brake calipers have their overhaul complete and are being shipped back to San Diego. Still need to finish the front wheel bearings and some more bodywork on the front of the car...

Greg :D

EDIT: Finished the repair on the fender flare so no more body work:cry: Need to get it to the painters to have them do their thing, then the new sponsors graphics...
