Hi all,

I am having a weird issue with my turn signals. The rears will work. Both on hazards and when blinker is on. Fronts will not work at all. The light will come on as a running light but will not flash. Bulbs are good. Tried multiple bulbs and nothing changed. I found a thread about a 1g with the same problem but I couldn't find a resolution. Has anybody had this problem and fixed it?

No but I tried brand new bulbs and had no change. The side marker bulbs are missing along with the piece that the bulb goes into that the harness connects to. I thought the side markers were running lights though.

Even though the rears work?
Yes. On the 2g the rears and fronts are on separate relays inside the "turn signal and hazard flasher unit" (which btw is not just your standard flasher relay - it is a full electronic circuit board with relays, transistors, etc). So you most likely need a replacement (used working one is fine). I assume the dash turn signal bulbs also don't flash since they are connected to the fronts.

Anything is possible on these cars, so yes. I've had weird crap happen that got fixed by swapping out a part that controlled more that one thing.
Gotcha. I'll look into that.

The dash lights work fine; they just blink fast. The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is in stock at my local autozone. Are these trustworthy? Link

Nope! As @luv2rallye said in the post that you quoted, you don't need a relay; you need a controller unit. It MUST be from an Eclipse. Universal parts do not work.
