FMIC Kit Question

i was wondering if having long pipes might hurt your cars performance for example please look at this kit to see wut im talking about.

I know that short route piping is the best to go with becuase the air has less space to travel through, plus that front pipe runs right in front of the intercooler. Not good for airflow especially when you want to cut that bumper out for better air flow.

I dont know what kind of budget you are looking for but I just recently went through the delema of trying to decide which fmic kit to go with and in the end I went with the http://www.extremeintercoolers.com/
kit and I can say that I really like the setup. I also learned that they are local to me which made it extremely nice since I could do a local pickup and got the chance to walk through their facility. I ended up going with their 26x7x3.5 core which is a bit bigger than their standard 7" core. The install was a bit time consuming but in the end it was well worth it. If you would like some pics just let me know and I can get you some of the kit installed
