Basically, I'm getting a H1C turbo and I have to go external wastegate, punishment has the kits that have the o2 housing with the wastegate.

question is ...which do I go with

I've had all of them already. stock, ss internal dump, ss internal recirculated, ss external dump, and hopefully my last o2 housing that I just got done installing yesterday on my holset project. stainless steel external recirculated. Just like the one link posted on the first thread be the opener. At first, the o2 dump was nice. It sounded mean!! But after a while, I really does get annoying. Specially on low psi or WOT. I think it was age that got to me. . As time kept (and still is) passing by, I've notice that the dump noise was just getting louder and louder. So I decided to change it to a recirculated system with my new turbo. You should check out some youtube videos as suggested earlier. The biggest difference that I noticed was from stock o2 hoising to ss o2 dump. It seemed like it eliminated or helped with boost creep. From ss 02 dump to ss o2 recirculated, I barely noticed any difference. The only difference was a slighty slower spool. Much better than stock though. The elimination of that annoying sound with the recirculated o2 really made up for anything,

Punishment just released a new ultra budget series that's cheaper and has a lifetime warranty.

What's the difference between an o2 mounted external wastegate and a manifold mounted external wastegate (besides the placement before someone says it). Is one better then the other in terms of boost control?

Its not better but its cheaper (in price) and it comes with a lifetime warranty so its not cheap (in quality).

so its all the same size and everything will sound the same but it looks different

Everything's the same, its just made out of a different material.
