I still don't want to have to modify my fuel rail though
Then modify the injector. All you have to do is cut down some plastic.

The flashable ECU's are black plastic and mine is silver metal
Awww, bummer! Someone swapped it out. Is it an EPROM? The flash ecu's are not very expensive, the last one I saw in clasifieds was $130.
The 1600cc Ford CNG injectors that so many people have problems with on DSMLink can be tuned on ECUFlash. Several cars running them. $155 for a set of 4 1600cc injectors.
What color is the MAF wire?
The wire should be the only one cut in half connected to I believe the Pink Wire, I just took mine out for ecuflash based tuning.
I wouldn't be afraid. If you get to understand this, maybe someone make a good video on how to tune a eclipse it wouldn't seem so hard. This is a cheaper route and as I am to understand simple concept for any tuning shop to understand.
You have a table with data you modify. Based on your logging.
Injectors and other things like the mods are straight forward.
I have a ok understanding, maybe I'll make a basic understanding video and maybe other can go more into other things I don't understand but its easier to see then to read.
Did you watch the ecuflash videos from evo forums? I did and they helped with a few questions.

They got reviews because the people that were using them didn't know how to tune for them. I'll upload my tables once everything is done. They can't be treated as regular 1600cc injectors as they flow more at .5ms that 1.0ms.

- sometimes it seems people like to horde that info to themselves, not saying that you don't because you help out around here. Can't wait to see it! By then I should have my eprom setup going
Ceddy said:The 98/99 ecus use a newer, better design injector driver.
Jeff from DSMChips checked the datasheets, and the newer drivers can operate 100 uS faster and have less voltage drop. So if you are using deadtime values that came from a pre-98 ecu, you may have to lower them a little.
