I've always liked the Evo wheels. Definitely will look better with the front bumper painted.

SWEET! Looks so great. Never get rid of your 2Ga sideskirts! They are the best looking out of all of the stockers. If you get the front bumper painted to match, r u gonna paint the black stripe on the bottom of the front to continue the 2Ga theme?

Actually I kind of like the front bumper matte on a white car. Go for that panda look. Black top in the future? Did I mention great deal on those sexy OEM rims?

They will fit. The fronts will stick out past the fender a 1/4 inch.

1gs with stock suspension can easily roll on 17"x 8" wheels from the Evo. Tire size can be changed if you are rubbing, IE 225/45R17 will work.

Personally I am planning on 235/45R17

I dunno really. It might depend on how wide the tread itself is. The measurement is usually the widest part of the tire, but that might Not always be from the tread. I saw two tires side by side that were 205/55R16. The one they called Ultra High Performance had wide tread and the sides were pretty straight. the one beside it had tread that was maybe 75% to even 60% of the other tire, and it was wider in the middle of the tire than it was where it connected to the wheel and the tread. All I can say is try. You could ask them to put them on and let you drop the car and check for obstruction.
