Can anyone tell me for sure if these wheels will fit my 1997 GST? I know the bolt pattern is right. I don't know the width for sure but I'm guessing 7 or 7.5" so that should be fine. The center bore is 67.1. I alreay have 17X8.5 Enkei RPF1s with 245/40/17 summer tires. These would just be for mounting all season or snow tires on.

17" Alloy Wheels (set of 4)

At 50mm, they will fit real deep . They will be well inside the wheel wells, and may rub on the inside suspension. Adding 12mm will be like moving the wheels toward the center of the car about 1/2"

You "might" be fine. FD wheels are 16x8 w/ 50mm offset and they work with a little bit of grinding in the rear. The extra inch might allow you to get away without doing any grinding. Look wise, they might be recessed in the wells a bit if they are 7" wide but 7.5" would be ok. It all depends on the look you want. This is on a 1g though. Not to sure about the 2g.
