I know that the 16G is fed from the head from the factory but I've also read that people that fed the turbo from the OFH also had no problems.

My brother feeds his from his OFH with an inline filter. 4 years strong at 30psi. I run from head for a few years 30psi no problem.

I run mine straight from the OFH.

i run mine from OFH, get your oil right after the filter so its clean, instead of it getting any contamination thruout its path thru the head, besides an inline filter is your"insurance" against contamination, it also acts as a flow restrictor, also if clogged you will run your turbo without oil, not cool IMO.

Lost my STi turbo due to a clogged factory oil feed bolt filter. Pulled that little bastard out and replaced it with a high volume "head" fead style oil filter line. My EVOIII 16g rocks a stock 1g head feed on my 2g. No problems so far.
