uhhh... so spent my whole thanksgiving break dropping in all my mods.. and once everything was in and ready to bounce, Evo 16g, Evo 9 MR FuelPump,FIC 650cc, etc.. i turn her on and she sounds niceee!! so i let her warm up and everything seems good. no service engine light, or anything. But once i got her on the Road she started missing like crazy and overboosting and not even holding any boost. i check if the wastegate was working and it was. Then it would have trouble staying on,or turn on from a cold start. I mean it got pretty bad to the point i threw in my stock 450cc injectors and to see if that would help. it did little, i mean i can hold boost from 2-5 but 1st is still overboosting. and i am still having the trouble turning her on from a cold start. im thinking it could be the computer and timing maybe or a hose that i havnt plugged in or maybe a sensor. but i really dont even know now.
i know that this turbo are common for overboosting but its a brand new one, didnt think the problem would come so quick. i have to get to school with this car everyday so help is needed quick.

have you tried porting out your hot side by the gate? my car does the same thing with the evo fuel pump too

check your tps sensor maybe

No offense but are you dumb. You dont run larger injectors without something to tune with. Simple as that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Your running larger turbo, injectors, and fuel pump with know boost controller or boost guage!!! Probaly dont even have a AFPR. leave the 450's in until you get something to tune with. How big is your exhuast? I have a small 16g and i run a 3in free flowing exhuast and see some creep. However i have all the supporting mods to handle the boost.

Yea, for sure. Sounds like he needs to test for boost leaks....

X3 on the dumb part, and how the hell do you sit there and go: "I'm overboosting, and where was I supposed to hook up that wastegate to again?":ohdamn:

And why was it that you're working on your own car again? I must've missed that part.

problem solved vacuum hoses rewired and it was my MAF, it was blown... thanks, and for the boost creep... im just going external tial 38mm and gona get it tuned at RoadRace

if your leaking by the intake as you think, check the injector seals, since you have been messing with them, you can get a leak there as well.
