I have a stock turbo and i plan on putting in the big 16g evo III turbo, now i know since i have a 2g i will need an install kit will there be anything else i will need to get? i almost have all the stage one upgrades done, i am getting a new fmic also, what else do i need? :dsm:

well there are billions of threads that cover this but im bored so i'll answer, you'll need a ss oil feed line, you re-use your water lines, (takes very little bending by hand) and you will need to drill the holes inward of your t25 oil return line to match the turbo, then just the lower intercooler piping. exhaust mani and o2 housing bolt directly on. have any questions let me know.

It looks like your wondering about supporting mods. You need to update your profile with your mods so people know what to suggest. But if you still on the stock fuel system you need to atleast rewire your factory fuel pump. Get a datalogger and set the boost to 15 max, without a logger keep it to 14 as the evoIII will easily outrun the stock injectors & fuel pump. Then you will need something to control the new injectors.

yes i know there are tons of threads on this but i am sick of reading them and people going off on how i should get a 20g, frankley i dont need that. thanks for the help tho i apreciate it but i have to drill i am a little curious bout this?

yes sorry about not having the mods i currently dont know exactly what all i got going on i havent owned the car for very long and i am emailing the person i bought it from for a mod list i had one and lost it OMG

cant i just buy a better fuel pump? i dont know about rewiring and stuff i dont have much experience.

Since it seems like you do not want to go big and you plan on ending with the evo3, then 550cc injectors will be fine enough. A 190lph fuel pump and a safc will suffice for your needs. A pocketlogger so that you can tune your car, and see what is going on. You really should do all of your supporting mods first so you do not melt anything. Hope that helps :thumb:

Re wiring the fuel pump is simple and alot of shops offer a kit if you don't want to piece it together yourself. If you check out the www.vfaq.com it will have most of the install procedures your looking for. This is something that should defently be done as with the stock wiring the voltage can be quite low which directly effects the fuel pump output. Don't want you to install the new turbo and melt something because you ran out of fuel.

I highly suggest going with 650's instead of 550's. The EVO III 16g can easily outflow 550cc injectors and there is never anything wrong with having too much fuel.

It's cheap insurance against a malfuncting wastegate. :thumb:

thanks guys from what i hear i will need to check the fuel pump wiring maybe upgrade injectors and get an install kit, thanks for all the help.

Im running Evo III 16G with 550cc Injectors and 255 Walbro Fuel Pump with a FPR. Im running at 16psi and no problems as of yet. Just got my Stage 3 Rebuild Tranny back from Shep so its time to go launching. LOL

Dude, how many ####ing posts about 550's and evo3 turbo's are you going to copy and paste that into? Post whore.
