Are you running Tephra patched roms? If so try disabling valet mode.
Has anyone had any problems with their tps reading differently after using the evo ecu? I know my afc read 100% while i was WOT before but now evoscan doesn't record above 97%. Anyone else have a similar problem?
If yours shows less, just adjust your TPS.
Just found it kind of odd that even with my old logger it still read 100% and not just my afc.

.
. i already have the 1.3 cable and im waiting on a email for the serial number to my evo scan ( comp crashed and i dont remember it for the reinstall). ive been prepping my rom for upload just the basics using the 9653 v5.10 tephra mod.ive also set my injectors to 412 using the same ratio as the evo. so quick question. how do i disable lean spool? ive read on evom that just set the start and stop rpm the same... just want an opinion for ppl using it on eclipses and talons. second to disable alt fuel maps do i set the number in the mods section to " 0 " ? ill show you what ive changed it to now.There is a periphery bit for lean spool.
Boolean flags are 1=yes or on and 0=no or off.
Remember that you need to adjust for the difference in fuel pressure between an evo and an eclipse. Evos use 38psi base and DSMs use 42.5 (IIRC) so your injector scaling needs to be taller, you should actually be pretty close to 450 (but still under.
failed c++ in college ..... ok so your sayin since the f.p is different then i should bump up the inj scaling... gotchaThe only issue I'm currently having is the idle. I have an ISC that works, yet my idle is just stupid. When I start it cold, I have to hold the throttle for a couple seconds or it will just die. Then it idles kinda slow until warmed up. If I turn my headlights on, it's almost a guaranteed die until warmed up pretty good. I swapped the idle maps in my 96530006 tephramod rom to maps from the 91470015 rom, and I havent yet decided whether it's better or worse. Once warmed up, it idles around 950-1000 with the lights on (where I want it) but 11-1200 with the lights off. My 1G always idles great, and that's without a working ISC.
I actually had a better, more consistent idle before even though I always left the ISC unplugged, and I never had to touch the throttle to start it even when it was 0 degrees or less out this winter.
Is it a requirment to buy one of the evo 8 wiring harness for almost 200..?
Just an FYI, I found what appears to be the latency values for the stock 450cc injectors.
I'm throwing this out there in hopes that someone can confirm this is correct for me and any others who aren't upgrading injectors at the same time as the ecu swap.
Stock injector latency settings for 450cc injectors on a 2g DSM:
18.7v = .456
16.35v = .552
14.0v = .648
11.68v = .840
9.34v = 1.152
7.0v = 2.112
4.7v = 4.056
Also, according to some of the 3G guys using EcuFlash who've done a turbo and evo ecu install, the 450cc injectors should be scaled globally at 412.
What is the base pressure on an EVO VIII?

Can evoflash/evoscan support a gm maf and a 3.3bar sensor?
